Annalisa Doedens is an experienced legal practitioner who has been a lawyer for over 30 years.  She commenced working as a lawyer in 1990 training at the firm Avery Abel in Moonah. She went on to work at James Crotty Barristers and Solicitors and then with Bill Ayliffe SC who was then practising as a Barrister and Solicitor in a small firm.  She worked with him for 2 years appearing in the Supreme Court in both the criminal and civil arenas and in the Family Court.  She also appeared extensively in the Magistrates Court in criminal matters. She left private practice in the mid 1990s to have her children. She went to Legal Aid in 1997 and worked there until April 2023.

During her time in Legal Aid, she worked in the Legal Aid walk-in clinic advising and giving clients advice and minor assistance in a range of family, criminal, and minor civil matters. In addition, she appeared in the Mental Health and Guardianship Tribunals.  In recent years Annalisa returned to her roots as a lawyer focusing in criminal law and has been appearing in both the Magistrates and the Supreme Court.  Her lengthy experience in both private practice and Legal Aid has given her valuable knowledge as to how best to resolve your legal problems.
